March 1 - April 6, 2019
Opening March 1, 6-8 pm
The Sandra Phillips Gallery is honored to exhibit a photographic series by acclaimed photographer Evan Anderman featuring his photographs of the Colorado La Vida Pass burn area from the 2018 fire. The intense beauty yet raw reality of his photography is both riveting and important. With a PhD in geology, he sees into and beyond the natural world using drones and aerial photography capturing provocative awareness of that which we may not otherwise see.
The exhibit will also showcase exciting new animations by Supernova animation artist John R. Morrison plus film animation developed by conceptual artist Virginia Folkestad and artist Anna Kaye.
