Spring brings up visions of road trips and the desire to travel. For this year's Month of Photography Exhibit, we invited three of our favorite artists to document the theme of Roadside Attractions. Our teaching artist, Josiah Lopez, is best known for his large-scale murals around the Denver metro area, but we decided to focus on his more intimate black and white photos of his movements around the country. Ted Tahquechi is an artist who is blind and primarily known for his work around the landscape of the body, but this go round, Ted focused his lens on his budding relationship with his first seeing eye dog. Lastly, in the Studio Gallery, we feature one of our favorite partners and collaborators - The Wayfairing Band and photos of its director Andrea Moore. This amazing group takes inclusive trips around the world introducing the love of travel to people with disabilities. These snapshots are very much from the road and feature a new look at those roadside attractions we tend to drive by.

Access Gallery is an inclusive nonprofit organization that engages the community by opening doors to creative and educational opportunities for people with disabilities to access and experience the arts.
